PCT (Post Coital Test)

The Post-Coital Test (PCT) is a fertility evaluation test used to examine cervical mucus after intercourse to see whether sperm are present in the cervical mucus, whether the sperm are motile (moving normally), whether there is any hostile cervical factor interfering with conception. It helps determine how well the sperm survive and move through the cervical mucus towards the egg. The PCT is usually done in couples who are being evaluated for infertility.
